  • The Forum Moderator has the option of allowing or disallowing any HTML in the Message part of your posting. If they disallow it, the script will just throw out everything in <>'s. If they allow it, your html markup will appear in the posting.
  • If you don't see restrictions in a particular forum saying you can't, then try it!
1.2 Why are there colons in the message when I try to post a followup?
  • Colons appear in the message dialog box when you try to followup up on a message to indicate that those lines are quoting the previous document.
  • The Forum Moderator has the the option of enabling or disabling the quoting of previous messages.
1.3 Why didn't my post show up?
  • Your post most likely did not show up, because your browser did not reload the page, it simply pulled it out of cache. Simply reload your browser and it should then appear.

2 Registering & Profiles

2.1 Why register?
  • So you can set up a profile that others reading your postings, can view and learn more about you!
  • You only have to include information you are of course comfortable with.
  • Many people don't use their real name but instead a nickname or 'nick'
2.2 Am I the only one who can use my registered nickname?
  • At the moment NO. However, that is a feature we will add to the forum software soon.
  • By reserving your 'nick' now, you will be the only one able to post with it later when that feature is added to the forums!
2.3 What are all those settings for?
  • They are of no use at the moment. They are a hold over from a previous version of the forum and will be removed in the near future or replace with new and simpler controls.

3.1 I'm having trouble with the moderator of the forum!  Can you do someting about it?
For the most part no!  Adult Communities Online is NOT responsable for either the content or the maner in what an individual community leader moderates thier community forum. Try to work out your problem with that moderator via email if possable, but again Adult Communities Online cannot help in this reguard. However... if the moderator is alowing illigal material (such a child pronogrphy or beastality) to be added to their community, then by all means email us and we will take approate action!
