After reading the post by Lori and all the replies and advice she was given I thought it would be appropriate to list some of the rules we've lived by.
First, if you are of the "cuckold" variety of hotwife/hothub these rules will probably seem laughable. However, since we're not on the cuckold forum you know where to go to seek your answers.
Second, It is our belief that being a hotwife/hothub is a sharing experience. In other words, it is for both parties enjoyment and fulfillment EQUALLY. I don't see the point in doing any of these activities if someone gets hurt or if both husband and wife are not emotionally and sexually satisfied with the results. After all, we are in a marriage and we both love each other dearly.
Third, We did not start playing to replace the other spouse or to fix a failing relationship. We've participated in 3somes to enhance OUR sexual relationship and to explore it TOGETHER.
Fourth, These rules have worked for US. It is not my intention or within my power to say this will work for everyone or anyone else for that matter. Do what works best for you, but the main point is that BOTH hub and wife agree or how else can it work without a painful result?
1. We both have the right to say no about a 3rd person at ANY time.
Yes that's right, she could be on her knees ready to suck his cock and if I say no, she stops. Same goes for her if she doesn't feel comfortable. Now this extreme situation has never occured, but it could.
2. We both agree on the person we will actually have a 3some with.
I think this is pretty self explainatory. However, I always get a little chuckle out of someone my wife has found online, hit it off with, yet won't take the time to chat with me. Also the situation was reversed with a woman that was interested in me, yet didn't feel comfortable getting to know my wife. We're in this together, it's a package deal period.
3. We won't meet anyone that we couldn't be friends with.
Why would you want to fuck someone that you couldn't enjoy an evening out with? We don't just show up to a meeting, go to a hotel, strip and fuck. We like to have fun too and if the person can't do that then we probably won't go any further.
4. We don't play on the first meeting.
The main reason is because we've never met the person and we like to get a feel for how they are and how well we all get along. Just about anyone can be mr or mrs charming over the phone or chatting online. The second is because the more comfortable everyone is the more fun the sex is especially for my wife.
5. We never play at home.
Even after chatting with someone on the internet, phone and eventually meeting them, you really don't KNOW someone. Is this person going to just show up one day out of the blue?
6. We never meet at anyone's home for a first meeting.
We prefer it to be a neutral place like a club, bar, restaurant. It's less pressure for everyone and if it doesn't work out, you simply say goodbye and never look back.
7. If anyone tries to come between our relationship they are history.
I'm sure most couples have come across the single male pressuring the wife to meet alone or many other situations. The first time that happens they don't get a warning, they just disappear.
This all being said, we have had 4 good 3somes with males, 2 with females over the past 4 years. One of the males and females we have met with on a regular basis. The male, which I'm about to write a story and post pics on the group, we've been meeting with for the past 8 months or so.
I suppose our best advice is to take your time and choose the person you plan to bring into your relationship well. The rewards for patience far outweigh the bs you have to put up with by rushing through with it.
